Our club has been at the centre of the village on since 1863. Recently, we substantially improved our facilities including complete renewal of our tennis courts surface.  

We  have thriving Tennis and Bowling sections with ample opportunities to play  informally and in competition.

 We have two superb bowling greens with ladies and gents sections, enjoying outdoor bowling from April to September –  and contrary to common perception world champion bowlers are in their 20’s and 30’s!  Free coaching is available for Bowling.

 On the Tennis side, we have 4 floodlit outdoor courts with a new playing surface where adult and junior members enjoy all year round play.  A professional coach is available and children enjoy summer schools run by the coach.

During the winter we have carpet bowls, quizes, snooker, cards etc., and we run entertainment evenings throughout the year which are regularly sold out!

Our Clubhouse facilities are second to none and can host events for up to 100 people.

There are specially reduced membership rates for newcomers and we have social membership available for those who don’t  wish to play but who may enjoy the clubhouse and bar.
